Happy Christmas Eve everyone. Photo taken this morning in Glastonbury, about half an hour after sunrise. It started off very grey and windy on my walk this morning up Glastonbury Tor but I just happened to be walking along the lane when the light broke through.
I have returned from the Solstice Camping Solitude in the Okefenokee Swamp and am back at my home bog!

This #Roman glass spherical bottle would make great #Christmas bauble, but it was used to hold perfume and loose powder. The contents were sealed inside the delicate cosmetic container, and a small knob at the top had to be broken off to remove the oil/powder.

So we slowly start to see the mechanisms the US under Trump is establishing to silence and destroy critics or people they deem to be their enemy. From travel bans (Breton, von Hodenberg) to complete isolation from using US American software, banking and payment networks (ICJ/ICC judges and prosecutors). I will continue to untangle my digital life towards personal digital sovereignty. That's also why I am primarily on the Fediverse, by the way.

Is DNS in vnet jails with #FreeBSD 15.0 just broken for me after an upgrade with iocage? Jails with "shared IP" have working DNS, but with vnet I get the following:

Error: error sending query: Could not send or receive, because of network error
Also pkg updates with srv records don't work, had to remove "pkg+" as workaround in /etc/pkg/FreeBSD.conf for every URL to download packages.
