I can't get Proton Pass to keep me logged in, no matter what I try. No matter what, it needs to be re authenticated when I reopen Vivaldi. I have three options:

1. Switch browsers (it works fine in Firefox)
2. Switch password managers
3. Change my master pw to something memorable, and just live with it.

Not sure where I go next. I spent the afternoon messing with polkit, but I can't fix it.

@rafeRafe 🦣 I love that I can just pin the mail tab, and have it integrated in the browser. You can choose to have the mail panel open automatically whenever the mail tab is selected, and when you change to a browser tab, it automatically closes again. I can open links from emails in the background... and the search function is super fast. No local folders, but sorting mail into folders is a bad idea anyway

Question for the wider universe: Sometime in the mid-90s I came across a hardware terminal that was apparently designed for APL. Among other weirdnesses it supported composition-- you could type "=", backspace, "/", and end up with "≠". The hardware itself was probably from the 80s. Has anyone heard of such a thing, or was this all a vivid hallucination?

if_bridge(4) on #freebsd 15 works a little different than the previous implementations. Assigning an IP address directly to the bridge interface is now the recommended thing to do. There are also pretty fine-grained ways to use and control VLANs on a bridge now. #callfortesting was where I heard about those changes first.
