Over the holidays each year I like to do some coding that's not so pressing and just see where it takes me. So I got some metal things going a bit smoother in Acorn, and then decided I needed to also unify some of the colors and such so I came up with an internal theming engine and then I thought… why not Mac OS 9's platinum? The problem with stories like this is that "regulations" can mean very, very different things to different people. It's easy to say "regulate AI." It's extremely difficult to come up with actual regulations that won't kick off another partisan shitshow fight once it gets distorted.

一直覺得加拿大氣象局可能有一種天氣優越感。基本上下雪時的用詞就是Storms或者Squalls。有記憶就沒有用過Blizzard這個詞。
首先對於其他地方來說，我們的前者就是他們的後者。在這個前提下，如果用上Blizzard這個詞那就是，慌了。
於是我今天拿著加冰威士忌在窗口處看著大雪肆虐的樣子，想著這場雪有些大啊，打開氣象局看看它是怎麼說的。
而就在這時，我看到了，Blizzard。

I am a software developer, based in Sydney, Australia.

I have years of experience across working within organisations as well as a freelancer engaging with clients directly.

Most of my experience has been as a full stack web developer, I have a lot of experience designing user interfaces with CSS and other frameworks, as well as writing business logic on the backend (good with working with APIs, databases etc).

I like being able to see the big picture, how everything interacts with each other, how the parts fit into a cohesive whole.

I like being connected with the "why" of what I am doing.
