推奨される方法ではないが、純水1滴（以下）＋鉛筆2本＋シルボン紙で、シルボン紙を鉛筆に巻いてその上に純水を垂らして拭いて、すぐに別の鉛筆＋シルボン紙で乾拭きするとうまくいく。
