US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has spoken after Trump, heaping praise on the US forces and the president.

“America can project our will anywhere, anytime, the coordination, the stealth, the lethality, the precision, the very long arm of American justice, all on full display in the middle of the night”, he said.

And, by the way, this isn’t censorship. Censorship is when the state or large organisations curtail your ability to speak freely. He’s absolutely entitled to speak freely elsewhere. This is social rejection of racism. Which is uncomfortable, but not censorship.

Most countries refused to attend a major international conference on artificial intelligence in education that was scheduled to be held in Israel. Israel failed miserably in its attempt to hold the conference, as the majority of countries refused to participate in protest against the genocide it carried out in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Ministry of Education invested millions of shekels in the conference planned for February in occupied Jerusalem, but its efforts were met with widespread international rejection due to the political and diplomatic climate.

This severe failure to organize the conference and the refusal of countries to participate reflect the significance of the scientific and academic boycott of the Israeli occupation, which committed genocide that killed thousands of children and teachers, while claiming to hold a conference to advance education.

Trump spoke to Maduro before Christmas. He said he wanted to see Maduro leave office before Christmas. There were negotiations between the two.

Maduro was seeking immunity for himself, his wife, and several members of his family, as well as safe passage.

Trump refused to guarantee any of them, so Maduro stayed where he was.
