one way to think about it is that tools (car, camera, etc) become our extensions, like extra arms and legs when we use them this enables flow but it also might explain why these unnatural failures of communication leak back into the mind. it’s like your mecha suit had a mini stroke

i think it’s triggered by episodes when it doesn’t work very well. it seems connected to language. it triggers some kind of new wrong to feel that explaining things in language didn’t quite work. not that it always works with people either but this feels distinctly unnatural and confounding
