Few months ago, i promised myself that my code should be in the operating system i use.

I have a modified Linux kernel that i run . But that will never make it in mainline because i will need to go through a gazillion repos to check i did not break something.

With FreeBSD it took me months to learn the structure and get patches merged.

How i did it ?

1) I upgraded to 16-CURRENT
2) I targeted the region that nobody likes to touch => Drivers.

it boring, cause lot of kernel panic (Reboots) , but that taught me lot about the industry, expecially how some vendors will add complexity for the sake of complexity.

One of my initial fear was that i will get rejected or roasted by the maintainer because 'the driver is fine or hardware is 10-15 year old).

It did not happen. in fact, i learn more C coding from those review (I'm a ruby dev, so lot of optimisations is not a concern there)

Today, i'm targeting Realtek drivers.

Bei diversen "Protestformen" bin ich schon auch der Ansicht, dass Anschläge auf das Stromnetz (insbesondere wegen ihrer schwer absehbaren Auswirkungen) grundlegend abzulehnen sind.

Nachdem diese im letzten Jahrzehnt in aber mehrfach vorkamen fände ich die Frage warum dafür noch niemand verurteilt und gefasst wurde, schon eine politisch aufzuarbeitende.

Und damit meine ich nicht "weil wir nicht genug Befugnisse haben" Ausreden.

@leuchtturm Die Einstellungen bei Mastodon verwirren leider einige Menschen. Dadurch sind einige Account nicht so sichtbar, wie es eigentlich gewünscht ist. Ein Problem ist "Profil und Beiträge in Suchalgorithmen berücksichtigen" norden.social/settings/privacy

Ihr könntet in der Datenbank suchen und die betroffenen Accounts anschreiben, ob das wirklich so ein soll. Ich weiß von zwei, bei denen das nicht so sein sollte.

Have you ever heard of a shell-less turtle that can grow up to 6 ft (1.8 m) long? Meet the Asian giant softshell turtle (Pelochelys cantorii). Unlike many of its relatives, it has no exterior shell—just a layer of thick rubbery skin covering wide-spanning, fused ribs that protect its internal organs. 結論から言うね。
👉️ChatGPTは絵文字とMarkdownと箇条書きを多用する性質があります。

✔️なぜこうなるのか？
・ChatGPTはわかりやすい文章がデフォルト
・Markdownを使うと文字が目立ってわかりやすい
・絵文字や箇条書きで、ユーザーに注目ポイントを教えられる

もし希望するなら他の口癖も教えるけど…やっちゃう？

Gemini、自分の写真の特徴の記述を頼んでみたが、イマイチ。やる気のない大学生より2段階くらい劣る。やはり芸術批評は芸術を読むそもそもの態度が存在しない限り出来ないので、写真で言うところの撮って出し的な素のAIでも出来るようになるにはまだまだ時間がかかりそう。
