Has anyone realized that you could post your videos to your Peertube and have YouTube pull them in via the Podcast RSS Feed? Or am I the only one that didn't realize this?
Which means you don't have to upload to YouTube AND Peertube. You can upload to Peertube and YouTube will grab it for you.
This of course only applies to those that WANT their content on YouTube. If you don't, that's totally fine. I'm doing this to advocate for the Fediverse so I think it's a necessary evil.

These murderers must be arrested and prosecuted under MN state law.
You don't need to watch this execution. Summary: They had him on the ground, were beating him, and one guy started shooting him point blank, then continued to shoot continuously until his magazine was empty while backing away from the already dead and motionless body.
Better summary from an Army guy on Bsky, one of my mutuals: "At least three people fired. The two agents who can be seen mag-dumping into a prone and defenseless victim at the end of the video both unholstered their weapons after the first shots.

I'm now able to pull back PieFed Feeds and display the results in my Gallery views.
It's a bit slow to show the feed name because I have to retrieve and filter every single feed on the server. There's no way to pull this information just by id or by name.
I might just be tired and overlooking something simple - a tomorrow problem.

Loops is a rare project, with literally no open source competitors.
Why?
Because this is a very complex project across many domains, and one that is usually extracted for profits and monetary value.
But, if you really believe in building ethical, better alternatives for the people, you may become the exception.
I knew this was going to happen, TikTok US being sold to Oracle and others.
This literally means all TikTok data gets sent and processed in the USA, even if you're not in the USA.
If only someone thought of building a better alternative that isn't funded by another US based billionaire like SkyLight is.
