——原因就是：你国的“不搞福利主义养懒汉”+“发扬传统家庭美德”的治国理念。
也就是，政府尽量避免在社会兜底方面出钱出力，把“财政包袱”甩给屁民内部消化，让那些失去劳动能力和自理能力的国民，由家庭而非政府供养。
所以，在你国，“斩杀线”现象确实不明显，因为绝大多数need help的人，不得不仰给于家庭亲友。
这也就好理解，为什么你国的所有司法判例，都严格遵循这么个灭绝人性的潜规则：
——买卖婚姻建立的“家庭”也是合法家庭，买主强奸买来的or“收留”的“妻子”，不算强奸。
原因就一个：把强奸犯绳之以法，需要有人养的女精神病人和她的孩子们，就得由政府出钱养，而政府不想出这笔钱。
所以，你国的司法实践，也就变成这么个丧尽天良的状态：
——只要谁肯出钱养活那些不能自食其力的人（老人、残障者、儿童），不让他们变成财政包袱，出钱的人就可以对他们做任何事，随便打、随便操、随便祸害！
乃至于，如果出钱的人腻了，不愿意出钱了，直接把这“财政包袱”弄死，司法系统也不会为难凶手，肯定以“家庭内部矛盾”为由，从轻判决！

really wish npm supported logging in with atproto and publishing under atproto identity. idk what that would look like (is identity-only worth it or does it need to go all the way?) but it would just be nice to use domains as orgs. maybe not even a breaking change

Great post. Something changed for me too in 2025. Some of it is the tech and some of it is my attitude. I went from not wanting to touch to realizing it's not going away and I should at least be familiar with what it can do.
And honestly it's been eye opening. Like Nolan says we don't need any more breakthroughs. We just need to learn how to make the best use of it.
