長照中被照顧的人有時會因為被照顧而感到虧欠，因為感到虧欠而不好表達需要，受照顧者因忍耐，在不適中抑鬱。
而照顧的人也因為不知道對方到底需要什麼，在溝通困難狀況下怎麼猜都會有哪裡不對勁。
這狀況在照護初期是必須要跨過的。
溝通、尊重彼此、把彼此仍當一個完整的人對待。完整的人不是整天溫和笑嘻嘻又講道理，而是理所當然的喜怒哀樂都會有，身體不方便，但人還是人，照顧者與受照顧者都要摸索適應這個新生活。
然後提醒自己要時時觀察，人會變，自己、對方都會。不要把一個可以運作的模式當作理所當然，人與人之間的互動會一直變化。
大目標是彼此能過的好、過的像自己。要鼓勵自己、鼓勵對方把自己的需求表達出來。
深夜突然拉肚子也沒辦法，人都會有，不用忍耐、感到虧欠而不好意思把人叫醒，自己決定做的事情，也得到感謝與尊重，維持舒適我也安心。
長照生活就是這麼回事。
偶爾已經理解的事情又往回頭打轉這樣的迷惘也是理所當然的事情。接受現況、好好應對。累的時候也該兩聲，沒事的🙏
