one of these days where I’m wishfully thinking about how wonderful life would be if Rust let you provide references “but only to this specific subset of fields on this struct”

(and this time it’s not even any of the usual reasons, but a weird thing I’m trying to do with a MutexGuard…)

WooHoo! DisplayCAL GUI for ArgyllCMS (color management system) is back in the Ubuntu/Mint repositories! The original developer of DisplayCAL, Florian Höch, who for years did a fantastic job of building & maintaining DisplayCAL ceased development when Debian & its derivatives migrated from Python2 to 3. Erkan Yilmaz & team picked it up & ported it to Python3 a few years ago. It was very much an alpha patch, but it worked. Now it's fully functional & in the repositories again--nice! 👏 👏

Just setup lagg on my laptop and it was easier than I first thought. So now if I'm not on a wired connection it'll jump to WiFi. My Wifi chipset is iwlwifi0: Detected Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz

On WiFi I get 275Mbps by 97Mbps
On wired I get 987Mbps by 94Mbps

FYI It was all in the excellent handbook here.
