I want to repeat what I was saying a few days ago to our chronically ill & disabled comrades, because I *know* you need to hear it.
Some of you have to spend much of your time & energy on caring for yourself—that too is the work.
Because here's the truth: we need you. For so many reasons we need you.
I see you giving of yourselves in a million ways. I see you educating people & sharing resources. I see you making things for people. I see you doing good things.
So whatever it takes for you to be in a space where you can give what you have to offer: that's the work.
For some people, staying alive is the work. I bet you're helping people in ways you don't even realize, but if you feel like all you are doing is surviving, you're keeping one of our comrades alive (you).
This is a situation where no one is insignificant. Solidarity means all of us. Solidarity means no one is left behind or discarded. Solidarity means you fucking matter, & we need you.

#FOSDEM was fun! Was great to meet some people in person for the first and also enjoyed quite a few random encounters.
I was also not prepared for just how crowded it got and unfortunately missed at least two people I wanted to meet. Let’s see if I come again next year given how close the event is to CCC.
I'm a software developer with 40 years' professional experience, lucky enough to be considering early retirement. I love writing code and don't want to stop. I'm keen to give something back and contribute to one or more open source projects.
The questions are, to what shall I contribute, and how do I get started?
My skills are mainly C++, having spent much of the past decade programmatically dismantling and reassembling Microsoft Office files. I'm quite happy to learn Rust or Go, but don't really like webby front-endy ux stuff.
Any suggestions for a worthy project to which I could contribute? Please boost if you can.

조금 슬플수도 있는데, 이게 한국에서만 나오는 현상도 아니고 한국이라고 특별히 심하게 나오는 현상도 아닙니다
현재 노동계급은 자본가계급에게 포위된 상태이고, 전체 인민의 대부분을 차지하는 노동계급에게 자본주의 지배 이데올로기를 주입시키고 있으니 이러한 현상이 이상한 것은 아닙니다
너희가 힘든 이유는 약자들 돕는다는 진보 정치인 때문이다 라는 선동이 지금도 잘 먹히고 있잖아요
힘든 조건에 놓여있다고 자연적으로 진보적 이념을 가지게 될 가능성은 매우 낮습니다

连续看到两个象友吐槽家里催生，忍不住又要分享一点过来人的经验：如果你已经试图沟通过几年而无果，真的不要再浪费时间试图让她们理解，绝大概率是浪费时间。
我在我的朋友圈和网上都算是对家里重拳出击比较坚决的人了，毕业后我拉黑了各种神经病亲戚，只有我觉得于我还有一些恩义的人留在QQ/微信里，大概沟通到27岁时我忍无可忍（我从中学时就说过我不打算结婚生孩子，但她们不当一回事）开始斐波那契式拉黑，即先拉黑1-2年，然后拉黑2-3年，然后拉黑3-5年，现在已经进入5-8年这个时间段了……我都快绝经了……
你猜怎么着？现在偶尔放出来的姨妈还会叠甲500字后说“你不要抗拒婚姻”，更牛逼的还有“你不结婚也行，现在不是可以找精子库生孩子吗……”最搞笑的是“你们加拿大福利那么好，不生岂不是亏了”
我感觉配种就是这些人的思想钢印，没什么救了。
