if we had 100% portability, we should have an intro server. only allow people on there for a couple months but we could give it extra moderation and hand holding. everybody would know to give these folks an extra level of consideration.

Yesterday I've been social for a couple of hours and coupled with the unexpected -6 Celsius icy trek I had to take due to unforced public transport mishap, today I'm exhausted and I can barely focus on anything requiring any mental work. :(

Still I got to meet a bunch of cool people and bored them with talk about my passion project, so all's good. :)

I really hate to say it, but at least on a test project, this Xcode 26.3 coding agent stuff is pretty good. I can see why some are going gaga over it.

My main concern (other than copyright, which for some reason companies seem to ignore) is that it makes it to easy to just trust the generated code. You start reading things line by line and after a few minutes its hard not to skim over the suggested bits that get added.

I dreamed I was running away from Bill Gates to release my monochrome classic Mac software

i drew this so i could use it as a mastodon banner. it took *forever* to get the body twist right.

anyway i stayed up late working on it and am experiencing something similar to semantic satiation with it, where it just looks like colored shapes now and not art really (but i'm also too stubborn not to use it as the banner now that it's done)
