If you make up a claim by changing the words someone said, then proudly "disprove" this made up "claim," it's really not the brilliant victory you think it is 🙄
Stop making up words to put in people's mouth. If you aren't sure you understand what someone said, maybe get into the habit of asking instead of attacking first.

In the past day I have learned that demand for AI data centers has been cited as the cause of significant increases in cost for the Brightline West high-speed train route between LA and Las Vegas because the big construction companies are busy building data centers and also the Steam Machine/Frame from Valve because AI data centers are eating up all of the RAM. Fuck AI, I want personal computers and trains!
It will never stop being funny to me that the whole "you can't trust Wikipedia because anyone can edit it" scare happened and now Wikipedia is the only trustworthy website because it turns out profit motive is the reason things turn to shit.

My son was playing a game last night and observed an NPC doing something weird. I said that their AI probably wasn't too complicated because they were meant to be in the background.
He immediately understood this to mean that some LLM was controlling the character, which in his mind naturally explained why it was acting dumb. 😂
