大昔に描いてたぷいきゅあ
여러 미니 PC를 써보면서 맥미니가 인기가 괜찮은 이유를 하나 알게됨. 이건 전원 어댑터가 없음. 다른 미니PC들이 안정적으로 전원 공급을 하기 위해 꽤 무거운 어댑터를 달거나 기술 자체는 안정적이겠지만 충전기를 믿기 힘든 USB-PD를 쓰는데 비해 중간에 덜렁거리는 거 없이 그냥 본체에서 220V 콘센트에 꽂고 스위치 켜면 된다는 간단함은 확실히 매력적이긴 함. USB-PD에 뭐 다른 의견도 있긴 하겠지만 나는 일단 충전기 하나를 해먹어봐서 노트북에는 별 불만이 없는데 미니PC용으로는 좀 더 비싼 거 사야 하나 싶어짐.

사실상 Surface처럼 Microsoft의 게이밍 PC 브랜드가 될거같음
내가 Xbox의 팬이긴 하지만 사실상 콘솔 독점작들을 통한 판매량 견인도 실패했고 Microsoft Gaming은 PC로 게임 잘만 팔고 있지만 Xbox 기계 자체는 점점 적자만 나고 있음
ASUS 기기에다가 Xbox 이름 붙여주는것도 그렇고 사실상 그냥 다음세대 Xbox는 사실상 Windows 11 돌아가는 게이밍 PC가 될거같음
지금도 Xbox가 Windows 돌아가는 기기긴 하지만 콘솔게임만 동작시킬수 있는데
이젠 그냥 거실에 놓는 게임되는 Windows 11 PC라는 그 포지션을 가져가버리려고 생각하는듯함...

On a whim, I've added zipper pulls to a bunch of my clothes and coats. It's such a small, inexpensive thing but it's an improvement I notice dozens of times a day, especially wearing winter gloves.
So I'm thinking about aggregating marginal gains now, and wondering what other options like this I have. What is the _smallest_ thing - in terms of size, cost, effort, whatever - that has made your life better in some way?

I took this picture in June 2004 with the first digital camera I owned. It was the emergence of "Brood X" which happened in central New Jersey.
These particular cicadas emerge only every 17 years. This individual, if they mated could be a grandparent but unfortunately they die soon after mating.
There must have been millions of them and for a few days the noise was deafening. It sounded like old 1950s sci fi UFOs.
I think it's so cool we share a planet with so many different creatures. We need to preserve this planet. It's the only one we have!!
