Gah filling out passport applications. Ridiculous requirements. Canada says you *have* to use adobe to fill out the application, can't use another pdf reader or web browser. So I had to install it just for this, which took forever and gave me numerous gratuitous popups, then uninstalled it, which again took forever with inexplicable errors and also opened up their website without consent to fill out a survey.

Learning how nodeBB works and have a working instance up. However, trying to follow Lemmy communities to test, or pulling in anything via federation, doesn't seem to work for me. Nothing in logs to suggest anything related to the action of adding/removing group actors from the subscribe list is actually happening. Federation is enabled in settings, canonical URL is correct.

Wondering if it's something obvious I'm missing.

그동안 퍼플렉시티 스페이스에 문서 먹일 때 50파일제한 때문에 문서를 그냥 뭉쳐서 먹였는데 이게 잘 동작하지 않는 문제를 방치하고 있었다. 오늘은 시간을 내서 그냥 뭉치던걸 문서마다 자동으로 설명 붙이고 태그 붙여서 카테고리 별 파일로 뭉치도록 해보는 중. 사실 이거때문에 퍼플렉시티 맥스 섭스크랩션을 고려했는데 퍼스널은 맥스라도 50퍼일 제한이 그대로더라고. 님들 돈 벌 생각 있긴함???

Ministerstvo zahraničí upozorňuje na složitou situaci na Kubě kvůli omezené dostupnosti ropy na ostrově. Karibský stát trpí kritickým nedostatkem pohonných hmot a vícedenními výpadky elektřiny. Situace eskalovala po zastavení dodávek ropy z Venezuely. Černínský palác Čechy varuje před případnými nepokoji, doporučuje proto zvážit cestu na ostrov.

@hongminhee洪 民憙 (Hong Minhee) :nonbinary: if i can give one piece of advice to devs who want to process JSON-LD: dont bother compacting. you already know the schema you output (or you're just passing through what the user gives and it doesn't matter to you), serialize directly to the compacted representation, and only run expansion on incoming data

expansion is the cheapest JSON-LD operation (since all other operations depend on it and run it internally anyhow), and this will get you all the compatibility benefits of JSON-LD with little downsides (beyond more annoying deserialization code, as you have to map the expanded representation to your internal structure which will likely be modeled after the compacted one)
