Accessibility tip of the day: a tool that claims to generate AI alt text, but starts the alt text with "the image is", is not a tool you should use.
Why? Because screen readers already announce images, so adding "image of" is annoying and useless.

On a higher level, using AI to generate alt text has been less than optimal so far (and let's not forget the cost).

An example of an image used to supplement other information. The image is a dog, the alt reads Off-duty guide dogs often wear a bell. Its ring helps the blind owner keep track of the dog’s location. The code for this alternative text is available with that example.

AIとデバッグしていて、「ページのソースを表示」で li タグの数を数えて、ブラウザでも要素タブから(DOMツリーから)同じように li を数えて差違があるか確認しろと指示された。SSRとCSRの挙動の違いの検証だから、やりたいことはわかるものの。退屈なデバッグは人間にやらせよう。

DNS-Sperren als Sanktionslösung für irgendwas ist auch einfach das völlige Aufgeben von tatsächlichen Regulierungen und Rechtsdurchsetzung.

Das wird alles einfach darin enden das diese Sperren für niemanden irgendeinen Effekt haben aber man ja Compliance gespielt hat.

Aber wer hätte irgendwas anderes von der SPD erwartet? 😂

This is perhaps one of the worst designed objects I have the displeasure of interacting with on a regular basis. It's a symphony of bad design choices. A vile hateful piece of equipment that makes my day a little bit worse every time I use one.

What is it? It's an NS ticket gate. In this case photographed at Sloterdijk Station, but they are installed at many stations across the Netherlands.

Why is it so badly designed?
