美國的一般農夫近年也遇到不少嚴重的問題，其中一個就是科技化的機具不僅初期成本投入極高。
且數位化的系統在排查問題時，只能曠日費時地跟原廠來來回回才可能解決，而不像過去機械式的問題可以自己來或是交由機械技師修復。
甚至有些設備會單單因為軟體鎖或原廠停止支援，而變成無法運作的大型廢鐵。
再加上氣候變遷與大量「目標要解決糧食問題」的新創與資本投入，進而堆高了農作物的競爭，讓傳統家族式之類的獨立農夫種越多虧越多，最後只能淪落到為了大型公司及其背後資本巨頭打工的佃農。

This reminds me that I bought my first Noctua cooler in 2010 and it's still in use in my workstation because of the free mounting kits that they provided me (I replaced the fan though). It costed me quite a bit back then, but if every computer product lasted this much I believe the premium would be more than worth it.
My network topology does not seem especially complicated but it's already complicated enough that things can break in ways that cause abject confusion so clearly I should just get into BGP because how could that possibly be worse

Because growing up I never saw people who knew things about computers talk about how everything was broken most of the time and so I assumed that I was doing something wrong, and now I am here to tell you that despite being *extremely* computer my stuff is randomly broken all the time and it takes me far too long to figure it out, so it's not you we just build things that humans are bad at handling)
Wondering why a bunch of my network infrastructure was weirdly slow and finally discovered that the cable to one of my switches had come loose on my router and the eero plugged into that switch had lapsed back into wireless backhaul and was happily routing everything else plugged into that switch via wireless instead but my wireless backhaul is absolute dogshit so everything sucked

If Loops can implement native ATProto support and maybe Nostr later, I think that would be in the best interest of the Loops community.
I'm a diehard ActivityPub fanboi, but that doesn't mean we have to limit our platforms to just ActivityPub.
Just look at WAFRN, they are proof that you can have multi-protocol support natively.
Something to consider IMO, what are your thoughts?
