For years, a massive decentralized network of neighborhood councils known as Resistance Committees has existed in the lands ruled by the state of Sudan. Anarchists in Sudan have been active participants in these Resistance Committees, surviving against all odds through a brutal civil war, as armed factions compete for power.
Comrades at the Dugout Podcast, a Black anarchist media project based in the US, have created a fundraiser to get money directly to anarchists in Sudan. These Sudanese anarchists are building people’s power from below, through mutual aid initiatives, food distribution networks and medical clinics. This is an ongoing fundraiser intended for the long term support of anarchist organizing in Sudan. Donate individually, share within your networks or organize a fundraising event in your community.

그것도 그것이지만, 밴스가 엑스커뮤니케이션 되어서 성찬례 참석 못하는거 상상하면 즐거움. 자신이 독실한 신자라고 믿는다면 성찬례에 참석 못한다는게 어떤 의미인지 잘 알것이고, 더 나아가 엑스커뮤니케이션, 즉 파문이라는게 어떤 의미인지 모르고 싶어도 모를 수 없을것이기 때문에.
설마 21세기에 파문을 하겠어? 라는 생각을 할 수 있지만, 가능합니다. 검사성의 후신인 신앙교리성에서는 아직도 파문과 복권에 대해서 다루니까요.

其實我上脆，通常是為了看點腹肌+西裝=霸總風格帥男照。
結果脆近日一直推給我：某位稱初見面男子為「霸總」的暈船小姐跟一位看不出霸在哪裡的老先生，曬恩愛。
整個事件簡單來說是熱心脆友當起鑑定團或徵信社，不斷列舉該男種種假冒的點，希望女方不要遇到感情詐騙，但一切證據似乎無法喚醒她的戀愛腦。善意在她眼裡就像是在否定她的選擇。目前演變成「大家多事了」。
這讓我想起大學時曾發生的一件事。
細節不便多說，就是某位有交情的學妹，竟然交了個……人品與外貌皆乏善可陳（只有功課好）的某系男友。學校很小，八卦很容易一下子擴散開來，於是就有複數同學跑來問我「蛤？為什麼她要跟他那種人交往？」
基於此，我不忍看她跳火坑，自以為還算是受人信賴的（？）學姊，不只一次善意勸她：記得不要一次放進整個真心。記得放慢節奏，停看聽。（抱歉我說教女😓）
我當時真的太淺，沒料到這種話說多了人家會煩。你以為是善意提醒，被戀愛神經元傳遞訊息後，會被轉譯成惡意的毒箭。
於是最後我收到的，是學妹對單身狗的我，冷回一句：
「學姊，妳是不是嫉妒我有男朋友，才這樣說？」(1/2)

After it ran into build problems, I told it to remove that requirement.
This is my second iOS app built in a few weeks. The last one took about 30 minutes, too, with 20 minutes spent downloading Xcode and installing the right iPhone for the simulator.

i’m pretty happy with the comeback. it’s not bad stats. losing voice on twitter felt very demoralizing. while lots of hits are just HN spikes from people who open and immediately close, i feel like there’s still some audience for my writing. and longform probably more impactful in long term

With a purchasing volume of 116 billion euro, the Dutch gov can make an impact - if they reserve a portion of funding for open source projects in every procurement (MVOI).

I've seen several WASM Scheme implementations recently which seem to be partially or sometimes fully vibecoded. Sometimes I wonder how much the fact that we've built a *non* vibecoded Scheme that compiles to WASM has made possible the Schemes that *are* vibecoded and compiling to WASM.
I expect I will be going through a lot more feelings like this in life.

There was a big jump in nonsensical papers citing my network science book that occurred in parallel with LLM proliferation. So I can only assume there is nonsensical network science code being written based on the examples, which network scientists are going to have to spend a lot of time debugging and debunking.
아무튼 군산 북페어에 인근지역 사람들이 많이 방문하는 것에는 그런게 있지 않을까 싶습니다. 지역에 문화 인프라나 행사가 부족하다는 것(시가지에 제대로된 서점과 극장조차 없는 지역도 있으니까요.) 그로 인해 군산 북페어가 주변 지역의 문화 행사의 어떤 등대같은 기준이 되고 있다는 것. 이런 것들이요.
i’ve briefly experimented with reading my articles out loud as youtube videos, and surprisingly those got decent distribution compared to amount i put into them (almost zero) maybe worth doing this more. it feels like being a hack but OTOH i love hearing people read their own stuff! maybe it’s fine
the status of longform writing have shifted throughout this year. on one hand, there’s a generation of developers who can’t hold attention for more than a couple of paragraphs (honestly i may be one of them) at the same time, LLMs made writing crap articles so easy that real writing feels premium
