There are people who *are* in Kansas and not everyone has an easy choice in the matter. And also they're invalidating birth certificates, too, and that's much harder to deal with.
And this is just the prototype. They want to roll this out nationally, and where they can, internationally.
We should all be alarmed.

Invalidating licenses and birth certificates makes life extremely difficult--if you're trans in Kansas and your license and birth certificate aren't valid you can't vote. You can't get employment. You can't prove citizenship. I wonder who comes for you with that last one?

Something has changed about the unprompted responses from people seeing me using the MNT (Pocket) Reform in the last month. I'm not just getting a "whoa this is cool and nerdy", I'm hearing more people, unprompted, say "Oh, this seems important, because maybe we won't be able to get computers we control soon."
It's uncomfortable, in a way, that this is starting to become more of the zeitgeist, because I think it's true.
I really do think we need computers we can control and hack on and advance. Because we're in real trouble if we can't.
Today, the final negotiations on Chat Control 2.0 begin.
We hope the European Parliament stands firm against any wording that paves the way for mass surveillance and censorship. Cyprus, currently holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU, aims to conclude the negotiations by June.

i kinda drifted away from bungie games during the endless parade of halo. don't get me wrong, some of the games are very good, but it just felt like the industry kept making the same games over and over again, so i stopped playing.
i eventually broke down and bought an xbox just to play halo, even though i hated m$ (that was the fashion to style "microsoft" at the time) (again, i was 14). we played games LAN style in college, it was a blast
halo was originally supposed to be the savior of mac gaming! finally something that would make people want to get a mac to play games! i remember crying when i heard that they had sold to Microsoft, of all people. (listen i was 14)

与作の背後にあるのは、過去への憧憬なんかじゃなくて、むしろサラリーマン階級の台頭でしよ。全国一律で「会社員」という階級が生じたことに応じて抽象的な過去の「日本っぽいなにか」が生じた。だから与作の舞台は具体的な「どこ」や「いつ」と名指すことができない。それは日本のどこかにあった過去でなければならない。
そもそもいろいろ省略しているんだけど、もともとこれ考えはじめたのが、米米CLUBの浪漫飛行のPV見たらうおお中身がなさすぎてすごいってなったんだけど、考えてみたら自分はミスチル世代で、ミスチルはバブル崩壊後のリアリティを構築している。米米CLUBは完全にバブル感あるし、それがJALとタイアップで「沖縄」のイメージ化にも寄与している。この辺、中平がプリプリしてたディスカバージャパンの話の延長線にある。嘘の地方イメージ構築という問題はたぶん歌謡を通じて観察できる。その一貫に与作もあると思う。そういうのはいったんバブル崩壊でご破産になっている。

i played pathways into darkness. Oni. I even played Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete! i remember using Anvil and Forge, creating levels of my own. learning that the shadows were just level geometry with different textures was mind blowing to me.
a lot of those games meant something to me, but when I found @bungie.net@bsky.brid.gy ? oh my. i played the whole marathon trilogy. i even beat the first two levels of @marathonthegame.bungie.net@bsky.brid.gy 2 in vidmaster mode, which eventually turned into my speed running interest later in life.
anyway because we had hand-me-down macs (I got like, third generation hand me down hardware, because again, we couldn't really afford a new computer) i was always looking for good games. on the mac. in the 90s and early 2000s. there were some! i swear!

圖書館借閱，剛看完。沒有電子書，應該會收一本實體。有些部分執行已久，有些部分對我來說有點遙遠（哪些部分待補），還有些地方是我想做但是還沒並且書中有提供蠻詳盡的可愛圖說搭配參考尺寸。
對於想要裝修、換屋無論租或購，並且希望居所能夠讓自己生活得舒適又方便、盡可能減輕家務負擔的人們，是不錯的靈感參考書。
由於此書立論的出發點是，在佈局規劃時便將生活型態、習慣和個人價值納入考量，以自己的習性為出發點，藉由思考動線和空間配置，儘可能減輕日常活動的各種負擔；對於想要輕鬆生活又不想家裡太亂的懶人，或也算是個不錯的整理參考。
目前沒有要換屋也不太有機會裝修，但那些附尺寸的可愛圖說還有那些莫名打中我的幽默感很香～（有病！）
