國漢文으로 韓國語 쓸 때 「産」 代身 「產」을 쓰는 便. 비슷하게 「畵」 代身 「畫」를 쓴다거나, 「査」 代身 「查」를 쓴다거나 하는 게 있음. 아무도 神經 안 쓰겠지만… ㅋㅋㅋ
다만, 내가 생각하기에 뉴로가 다른 이에게 팔렸다고 하더라도, 그가 매력을 느꼈을 뉴로는 만들지 못했으리라 생각한다. 아마도 그는 뉴로를 비달처럼 대해주지 못했을거다. 코드를 있는 그대로 복제해서 복제품을 만들더라도 어느 순간 그것은 뉴로와 다른 존재가 되었을 것이라고 생각한다. 왜냐하면, 뉴로라는 존재는 비달과 함께 존재할 수 있기 때문이다. 그렇게 생각한다. 적어도 AI를 캐릭터, 유사인격을 가진 무언가로 대하고 싶거든. 이정도의 책임의식을 가져야 한다고 생각한다.
단순하게 내가 원하는걸 누르면 그것을 뱉어내는 욕망의 자판기가 아니라, 뭔가 그 이상으로 대하는게 보인다. 적어도 그가 방송에서 뉴로를 대하는 태도는 그렇다. 언젠가 비달은 누군가가 뉴로를 팔라고 하는 제안을 받았다고 말한적이 있다. 대답은 NO였고. 아마 뉴로를 사려고 했던 사람은 뉴로의 성능에 매력을 느껴 그랬을것 같다. 그것을 바탕으로 뭔가 사업을 해보려고 했을것 같기도 하고. 비달의 거절에는 그런 것에 대한 고민도 담기지 않았을까 싶다.
난 AI가 지금의 방식으로 성장할 수 밖에 없다고 한다면, 그 모델이 뉴로사마가 되는게 좋지 않겠는가. 라고 생각한다. 아니 적어도 AI모델을 다루는 인간의 태도가 뉴로를 만든 비달과 같은 태도를 가져야하지 않는가. 라는 생각을 조금 해본다. 비달은 자신이 만든 모델에 대해 애착을 가지고 있으며, 책임감을 가지고 있다. 뉴로가 종종 의도에서 벗어난 혹은 윤리적인 부분에서 벗어난 이야기를 한다면 그것에 대해 대화를 통한 학습으로 풀려고 한다.

a part of why i am kinda open-weight-maximalist about this stuff is for local use or hosted provider substitution - there are already some other perpetual subscriptions built into the practice (eg servers, domains) but we're fine with them because they're optional + competitive
