I have just set up a Meshtastic node at Oghill, Co Kildare, Ireland. It's in the house at the moment, but I hope to mount it outside soon.
If anyone else in the area is experimenting with this technology, let me know.
The closest node I see on the Meshtastic map is Newbridge, which is probably too far for a single hop.
Edit: The node is called "Meshtastic-Oghill". If you find yourself on the Dublin-Waterford train, see if you can make contact with it between Kildare and Athy.
Edit2: It's mounted outside now.
Which reminds me: I would like to make a Visual Dictionary of Railway Terms. It would contain drawings of various components of the railways and label them in various languages.
If this sounds cool to you and you happen to be good at drawing (either by hand or by computer), maybe get in touch?

お金が無くて大学進学を諦めたから、奨学金はズルいって言う人は昔からいた。
でもお金がないレベルで言うと、私も相当無かったし（一人暮らしだけど仕送りも貰えずとにかくバイトで乗り切った）、まじでない友達いっぱいいてみんな夜職やそれに近いようなバイトいっぱいして奨学金借りて何とか公立の大学卒業したんだよな。
お金がなくて大学進学を諦める人なんて早くゼロになって欲しいけど、実際には普通に勉強が嫌いだった人もそういう事言うし、え、うちよりよっぽどお金持ちじゃんって人も言ったりする。
あと、大学なんて遊ぶために行ったんでしょ？と言う人とか。
見えてる景色と環境が違うんだけど、想定が都心できれいな服着て小遣い程度のバイトで毎日飲み会しているような大学生なんだろうな。我々は嫉妬されるような学生生活おくってないのよ...

①スケッチブックと極太マッキー
プラカードにしてます。私はよく駅のホームで書いてる。他の参加者にも「書きますか？」ができる。
②光るベルト
夜間の安全のためのあれ。元々「夜間のデモに最適じゃん！！」と張り切って持参していたので最近みんな光ってて嬉しい。ペンラもあるんですが持ってるのがしょぼくて、光るベルトの方が明るいので……。普通に持って振ってる。
③添付動画のこれ
振るとカタカタ音が鳴るこれ。友達に「わ〜！ これ子供をあやすやつ！」って言われたけどまじで100円ショップの子供のおもちゃコーナーにありました。タンバリン的なの探してたんだけど、音が柔らかいのでこの方が好きかも。カバンの中でもうるさくならないし。
プラカ持った状態でうまく拍手できないのが歯がゆかったんですが、これなら片手で振れる。賑やかしにすごくいいです。今度落書き沢山しようかなと思ってます。

It took 4h30 to make, including the background. I tried a new technique to make it : acrylic paint mixed with a textile medium.
Just paint, let it dry and sew !
I was surprised at how easy it was, I'll definitely do it again 😊
