As someone who came to the US as a refugee with political asylum I can't overstate how cruel this is. I was already terrified and had nightmares every day. 어떻게 보면 초단편은 일러스트계에서 벌어지는 도구로서 LLM의 논쟁에 가장 가까운 소설 장르일 수도 있겠다. 저작권의 문제를 차치하고서라도 작가가 창작한 부분이 어디까지인가? 라는 부분에서 말이다.

그런데 근래 소설에서 사용되는 LLM의 도구적 용례를 살펴보면, 시놉시스나 내러티브의 정리로 쓰는 경우도 있는듯 하다. 초단편에서는 이게 어렵다 아이디어를 다듬으려 몇마디를 나누면 완성되는건 스토리보드가 아니라 거의 완성된 덩어리가 나온다. 앞서 말했듯이 짧으면 짧을 수록 이런 문제는 커진다. 그리고 그 덩어리를 보면 자연스레 고민이 들 수 밖에 없다. "이게, 어디서부터 내가 쓴거지?"
초단편에서 LLM은 어떻게 이해해야 하는가? 이것도 요즘 고민이라면 고민이다. 초단편은 그 분량이 짧으면 짧을 수록 내러티브, 스토리, 플롯, 시놉시스와 경계가 흐릿해지고 구분도 모호해지는 경우가 있기 때문이다. 단편보다 짧은 형식의 이야기와 소설을 초단편으로 묶어서 이야기 하지만 그 안으로 들어가면 세부 장르에 따라 그것이 더 선명해지기도 하는데, 콩트를 생각해보면 이게 어떤 의미인지 쉽게 이해될거다.
