Reading through Anthropic's official repo for giving agents various "super skills"[1]... There's an "algorithmic art" skill and the instructions are explicitly encouraging pure deception as one of the key "critical guidelines":

"The philosophy MUST stress multiple times that the final algorithm should appear as though it took countless hours to develop, was refined with care, and comes from someone at the absolute top of their field. This framing is essential - repeat phrases like "meticulously crafted algorithm," "the product of deep computational expertise," "painstaking optimization," "master-level implementation.""

The internet is now officially fkuced. No longer can you type a search string into a so called site and expect a reasonable result. First of all, you will get Amazon claiming to be able to sell ypi what you're searching for even though the criteria is not something that could ever be for sale. Then, there are pages of results missing half if the search string and only returning the most popular phrases which possibly include one or two of the words in it. We as the people who aren't hoarding billions of whatever your local currency is (the currency isn't relevant), need to reset the internet. It doesn't work the way it should.

Please don't tell me about your favourite search engines or how to block advertising. Ive tried most of the search engines and am behind all sorts of stuff to stop advertising.

Take a simple search, 'what is the UK RDA for turmeric as a supplement?' Now this is or should be less than about 1500mg but amazon claims to be selling 15000mg capsules and the actual non medical figure is way down the list.

No longer can you just type a search and hit return. AI is everywhere and its wrong in most cases. Instead of having a useful research platform, we're now talking to an average 5 year old child who when asked a question will reply with poopy bum butt face.

Oh, and then there's google and you tube addiction to deal with. The latter thinks I'm a not and wants me to sign in. The latter can fkuc off. Yes, I know you can get round this and the endless paywalls bit we shouldn't have to and instead of letting the bullies constantly get away with it, we need to be finding an alternative.

As I said. The internet is broken. We need to fix it and we need to say no to the billionaire who broke it.
