전쟁이 진행 중인 곳에 군을 보낸다는건 그냥 해외로 워킹홀리데이 다녀오는 그런게 아닙니다. 참전한다는 것이고, 그건 어떤 식으로든 손에 피를 묻히는 행위에 동조한다는 뜻입니다. 민간인들이 수만킬로미터 밖에서 전쟁에 대해서 가십처럼 소비하는 것과는 그 무게가 다릅니다.
물론, 싸워야 할 때도 있습니다. 당연히 있죠. 그래서 전쟁은 대의와 명분이 중요합니다. 그런데 이번 이란 전쟁은 그런게 있나요? 이번 전쟁은 과거 이라크전만큼의 명분도 없습니다.

아니 왜 파견을 먼저할 생각을 하나요 ㅠㅠ 일본과 유럽 먼저 알아서 가게 해야지 ㅋㅋㅋ 한국은 이란이나 중동 사람들과 척질 필요가 전혀 없고요;; 정 분위기(?) 상 안되서 보낸다고 하면 사람들 다치거나 수리 혹은 건설이 필요하면 그런거 도와주면 될듯;;

뭐랄까...우리 사회는 해외 파병이라는 걸 너무 가볍게 생각하는거 같아. 아니 그 전에 전쟁을 너무 가볍게 생각하는 것 같음. 이미 국토에서 전쟁을 한번, 해외 파병을 통한 전쟁을 한번 치뤄봤는데도 말이야. 왜 그런가 생각을 해보면 굉장히 기이한 느낌이기도 하고. 달리 이야기하면 전쟁의 피해자들의 목소리가 그만큼 묻혔다는 생각도 들고.

What I like (and what I don't) about Ferrara:
PROS:
- small city, compact, on the right side of the north/south of Italy contrast (at least for me)
- most likely the highest people / bikes ratio in Italy, very comparable to northern and Scandinavian countries
- Mordi & Fuggi
- Caffè Italiano
- that small store on the main (Piazza Trento - Trieste) Square selling... Well, everything for creative ladies - but I've also found a few nice gifts for my friend there, scarf, vintage brooch, ... And they also have affordable hats and flat caps
- the gelato in the Gelateria K2, i forgot the name of the flavor but when I get there, I will post the name, it was sooooo good
- the Centro storico Is beautiful - not super crowded because everyone is in Bologna, just perfect
CONS:
- the closest airport is in Bologna, not so many direct flights from Prague + a pretty expensive ride to the city
- I always gain so much weight there because of the great pizza and sweets and everything

This is part of the reason we've always adopted adults (though often young adults, 12 months or more) rather than kittens. The phase before the cat learns common (cat) sense is just too exhausting.
