昨天吃完老闆請的晚餐後，回家的路上，經過了二十幾歲末段那幾年，因為強迫症而需要定期回診的身心科診所。
領了藥、吃了藥，痛苦地什麼事都做不了，只能時而躺、時而坐在地上，反覆看著同一套看了十幾、二十遍的漫畫，想著這一切什麼時候能結束。

昨天吃完老闆請的晚餐後，回家的路上，經過了超市，就進去買了長棍麵包，今天早上悠閑地用它做了三明治，吃完後再開始處理家事。
把衣服丢進洗衣機，趁洗的時間把垃圾、回收整理好，把髒碗盤放進洗碗機。晾好衣服後，覺得有點餓，就煮了午餐，吃飽後在行軍床上懶洋洋地躺了一下，才出門喝咖啡。

那時的我，一定沒辦法想像，未來有一天走在同樣的路上，會是完全不一樣的心情。
是啊，怎麼可能想像得到，原本都計劃好了，要將一切都停留在三十歲就好了，然而今年都要三十三了，誰能想像得到。
不過話說回來，這一路走來，真的很不容易呢。

試過這麼多法語課，學校給博士生開的課似乎終於讓我找到了契合點。什麼語音啊語法啊通通你們自己去做，老師只管跟你閒扯，完全不會放慢語速或者故意降低難度，不管你是否能夠立即開口說，也不是為了考試而設計課程，但是攤開一張地圖，歷史政治地理科學，內容包羅萬象，她侃完就讓學生自己對著課前發的材料寫作業。是的，作業量相當大，需要課後還費很多功夫。
但我喜歡這樣的課。

I'm a software developer and sysadmin who could really use being #fedihired.
What I'd really like to do is Rust, but once you ignore the dubious crypto and AI stuff, there seems to be nothing out there. Prove me wrong with a counterexample!
I've spent decades fixing Enterprise mudballs mostly written in #Perl. If you've got a crufty legacy system that everybody else is too scared to touch, I'm your man. I love fixing stuff like that.
I've also done commerical #Scala, #Python, #C/#C++, and although I don't usually admit it on my CV but these are now Trying Times when everything is on the table, even #PHP (the longest six months of my life).
Perl naturally leads into Unix system administration and infrastructure. I've built and maintained mail clusters, VoIP systems, network monitoring, DNS management platforms, that sort of thing. If it's non-sexy but something which needs to be done, I'm there.

Optique just crossed 600 GitHub stars!
For those unfamiliar: #Optique is a #CLI parsing library for #TypeScript that takes a parser combinator approach, inspired by Haskell's optparse-applicative. The core idea is “parse, don't validate”—you express constraints like mutually exclusive options or dependent flags through types, and TypeScript infers the rest automatically. No runtime validation boilerplate needed.
It started as something I built out of frustration while working on Fedify, an ActivityPub framework, when no existing CLI library could express the constraints I needed in a type-safe way. Apparently I wasn't the only one who felt that way.

My jaytag library SPI flash programmer does a CRC-32 of each sector rather than a full readback for speed reasons.
Any reason this is a terrible idea? I don't consider malicious flash a concern. It does have normal readback support, just takes longer.
