@sashin Running a forgejo container in my homelab and having it sync some repos to codeberg gives me the best of both worlds. Full local control and sharing to the world. With the planned ActivityPub federation we should move towards a decentralised, federated code sharing solution that far better reflects the philosophy behind Free and Open Source Software than monoliths like Github (or sourceforge before) do.

Have you heard any recent updates on the federation? Last time I checked (a few months back) it seemed to be in the "nice to have" category but not particularly actively being worked on.
