While sitting at the Laguna, I was watching quite a lot of "content creators" creating their identical looking short videos, using the same poses etc. that are probably "trendy" on TikTok and Instagram.
And I think that made me understand why some people find "#AI" or #LLM's so appealing: If you only care about "creating" carbon copies of existing things, and measure success by how close you get to the "original", then side-stepping the actual act of creation must seem like reasonable step.
