@kodingwarriorJaeyeol Lee sounds like an alternative to Mobilizon. We really need a good event platform on fedi.

As an event organizer I need to be able to message attendees and get their information such as e-mail addresses or phone numbers. Mobilizon doesn't support that.

Keep us updated, this sounds really cool.

Privacy-first by design. Moim doesn't collect email addresses or phone numbers — at least not yet.

Instead, Moim identifies users by their Fediverse handle. Anyone on the Fediverse can sign in through a simple OTP flow: Moim sends a Poll activity as a DM, and responding to it verifies your identity.

Event organizers can manage Group actors that anyone on the Fediverse can remotely follow. This means organizers can announce events as Notes, and followers get notified right in their Fediverse app

On top of that, organizers can attach an RSVP survey to collect responses from attendees — custom questions, answered at the time of RSVP. When they need to do bulk outreach, they can export responses as a CSV and use their preferred messaging tool.

If you have a fediverse account, you can reply to this note from your own instance. Search https://hackers.pub/ap/notes/019cbd4a-ffb4-7b6b-9749-d5610139bd29 on your instance and reply to it.

@kodingwarriorJaeyeol Lee unfortunately currently majority of people don't have fedi accounts. They need to be able to RSVP with e-mail address only. This is already handled in Mobilizon, but it is impossible to message the attendees afterwards. Notifications via Fedi or Matrix would be of course preferred if attendee has an account.
