I started working on an #MCP server to help me categorize and manage my starred #GitHub repos ⭐. No GH API for star lists makes it tricky, but worth a shot.

Tried the official GitHub MCP server—quite slow with local models (e.g., Gemma, gpt-oss) and no star list support as well.
