Public money should only be invested in public goods. If tech companies or products are being funded with government money, our money, then the code should be transparent and accessible to all of us. Us, who paid for it.

@dragonfiEvelyn Estelle absolutely. And while we're at it, lets have public repos where the citizenry can review and contribute. That would properly honour the spirit of democracy -- and likely be a very beneficial thing, bidirectionally.
