The content warning has probably already driven off a lot of potential readers. That shows you how bad the situation is. You would think actual scientists would be curious to know if such experimental proof existed, but instead many assume anyone going against authority is a crank spouting nonsense.

7.2 のリリースに向け、安定版 7.1 から見られる深刻なリグレッションへのフィードバックをお願いします。（7.2 以降の）新機能や既存の問題に関しては、いつものようにフォーラムをご確認ください。

早めにアップグレードしたいユーザー（最初にスナップショットの構成をテストされた方）向けに、安定版と同等の先行リリース版へのリンクも提供しています。これはリリース候補であり、正式なリリースではないため、アップグレード前に設定をバックアップすることをお勧めします。これら（あるいは以降）の安定版ビルドへの自動更新は、さらなるテストが完了し、最終版がリリースされるまでは有効にはなりません。

既知の問題

  • 7.2 の正式リリース日前にインストールされた場合、ビルド 3621.54 では初回起動時に違う「What’s New」ページが表示されます。
  • プライベートウィンドウを開いた後にメールラベルが消える問題は初期のマイナーアップデート（あるいは RC2）での解決を予定しています。

ダイレクトメディアをやろうとすれば「出版社であれば編集や校正校閲にあたるような既存の機能は嵩張るから縮減しましょう」という話にならざるを得ず、それって如実にアウトプットのクオリティに直結するはずで、物書きの立場で無邪気に生存戦略として推し進めて良い話ではないと思う。動画やポッドキャストに活動の拠点を移行すべきだという見方に単なるヘゲモニーの変化以上の含意があるのは、発信者になるにせよオーディエンスになるにせよ圧倒的にカジュアルにできてしまう点にあるはずで、近年の大小の政治的混乱が映し出しているように結局そのカジュアルさこそが大きな罠だったわけでしょう。もし「正しさは AIが担保してくれるのだから、私たちコンテンツ製作者はロジックを無視して好き勝手に発言していいし、戦略上それが望ましいんだ」と本気で思っているのだとしたら普通に社会悪以外の何者でもないよねと思う。

そういえば、KagiをProfessional以上で契約している人はFastGPTという検索+LLMなサービスも無制限で使えるんですよね。

自分がこだわっていたKagiのインデックスで検索しつつLLMにまとめさせるという用途ならこれでもいいのかも。Claude 3.5 Haikuなクイックアンサーでもいいんだけど。 kagi.com/fastgpt

@risa2りさ姉@V2β OpenAIのAPIを使ってGithubActionsでプルリクエストのレビューをしてくれるBotを作りたいです。
ですが全てのモデルにはトークンの制限があるので、変更の大きいPRは差分だけで制限に達してしまいます。
この場合どのようにすれば、コードの課題や懸念点を全て把握の上でBotにレビューしてもらえますか？

Oh I can see the both posts now. There is just a lag. but markdowns are not working in vivaldi.social because there's on function to render it. OK. I understand. This platform seems good when I want to post something about engineering or longer stuff with markdown.

We really need to break the myth of Germany being good at trains. Just got almost all the way to work on a train that's suppose to always go in a single direction, it's called the ring for a reason, and then they made some announcement in German that I didn't understand and it went back to where I started. I also didn't notice the change of direction, cause I was reading on my phone. They make some of announcements in English but not all of them. Seems like something they could easily improve..

Fellow developers, what used to be the go-to FOSS library for audio-to-text before Whisper crammed itself into every nook and cranny?

(I am not looking to produce reliable, absolutely correct transcriptions. I'm only looking for "best effort" transcriptions.)

I've been trying to use Whisper (faster-whisper, to be precise) and the process keeps getting killed in spite of the fact that I don't literally run out of memory. Oh and chunking audio, afaik, should be done on periods of silence? Uhh..

The text field on the springboard anticipates what you want to do. To do this, you must enter a future time, e.g: Friday morning or tomorrow morning, optionally with a time.
