Sugestão pessoal para sobre : qPDF Decode (GPLv3+), conjunto de scripts com o único propósito de facilitar salvar versão decifrada de PDF com senha, sem outras alterações.

Como sou uma pessoa metódica que arquiva contas e comprovantes, achava muito incômodo o fluxo de trabalho necessário para isso a cada vez que recebia uma fatura em PDF cifrado: tinha que "salvar como PDF" o PDF aberto com a senha e, mesmo assim, o resultado não era satisfatório. Durante muito tempo, procurei por programas nesse sentido, porém não encontrei algo a contento. Então, decidi programar isso ao mesmo tempo em que aprendia um pouco de .

Agora, basta mandar abrir o PDF com qpdf-decode-gui, escolher onde salvar o resultado — ou o padrão será o mesmo nome do original com o sufixo _decrypted —, informar a senha esperada e pronto: está salvo. 💾

Só testei em :gnu: GNU/Linux, mas é para funcionar em qualquer sistema operacional que implemente POSIX, tenha o programa qpdf (licença Apache2) e, se desejar interface gráfica, também yad (GPLv3). Pode ser integrado aos diversos ambientes desktop mais comuns, seguindo especificações do XDG.

IMPACTS...Visibilities reduced to one quarter mile or less due to blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The best chance for blizzard conditions will be north and west of Kipnuk, including Toksook Bay, Mertarvik, and Mekoryuk. For locations from Kipnuk south and east, temperatures are expected to rise into the 30s during the day Wednesday. The warmer temperatures will likely limit the severity of blowing snow and may allow for rain to mix in with the snow by Wednesday afternoon.

WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 20 inches, lowest amounts at sea level. Northerly wind gusts as high as 50 to 65 mph. Visibility reduced to one-half mile or less at times.

WHERE...Eastern Aleutians.

WHEN...Until 1 AM AKDT Thursday.

IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Strong winds could result in significant drifting of snow.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow continues this morning and picks up in intensity throughout the day along with the gusty northerly winds. The worst conditions look to be between early this evening through Wednesday afternoon before snow rates decrease. However, gusty northerly winds, snow showers, and poor visibility could linger into Thursday morning. Unalaska will likely see the worst conditions and most snow accumulation with this storm. With the storm tracking a little bit farther to the east, Akutan will see a longer period of snow before warmer air potentially works in to change precipitation over to rain/snow mix this evening into tonight. Nikolski will be cold enough for all snow but looks to be a little too far west of the moisture axis which will be over Unalaska.

We've only been at apply.coop for 3 months or so. Sure we could have YOLOed some CRUD app into the wild based on some framework, but we wanted to take a different approach to our tech stack. We've made lots of progress and are happy with our choices.
