Der Thüringer traf sich zu seiner konstituierenden Sitzung. Neben der gegenseitigen Vorstellung und formalen Dingen stand die digitale Souveränität auf der Tagesordnung.

Insbesondere der konsequente Einsatz von Open-Source-Software ist beeindruckend. Da dürfte der Freistaat eine führende Rolle einnehmen.

Den Bediensteten der Thüringer Landesverwaltung stehen aktuell verschiedene Lösungen für flexibles und mobiles Arbeiten zur Verfügung. CIO Dr. Hartmut Schubert sagt: „Mit rund 9.100 geschützten Netzwerkverbindungen ins Landesdatennetz haben wir auf die gestiegenen Anforderungen für mobiles Arbeiten reagiert.  Egal ob Quarantäne-Situation, zeitlich und örtlich flexibles Arbeiten - sichere Arbeitsplatztechnik steht in Thüringen bereit.“
