#Spotted on Market Day in Aotearoa New Zealand:
A tiny human (2?) is running up to nearby people and roaring: "SEE YOU LATER ALIGATOR!" before waiting expectantly. Almost everyone gets it right and retorts: "In a while crocodile," only to be rewarded with rapturous giggles.
Two birdlike women (Late 80s?) wearing brightly coloured knitted berets and cardigans are meandering through the markets. They're snuggled up together, arm in arm with their heads bowed as one chuckles conspiratorially at something the other one's just said.
A small human (3?) wearing a jumper covered in teddy bear pictures is stomping down the street with the ear of his very worn teddy between his teeth. Teddy doesn't seem to mind this unconventional mode of transport at all.
A young human (7?) is getting overwhelmed by all the lunchtime choices on offer. Dad crouches next to him, says: "Take a breath bud. Okay. Another one. Want a hug?" Young human nods yes and visibly relaxes. A few moments later he's seen happily munching a hotdog.
A small human (4?) runs up to a big man wearing a Harley Davidson T-shirt and says: "Uncle Josh! Wanna see my skills?!"
Uncle Josh nods seriously. "Yeah. Most definitely."
A very complex and impressive display of interpretive dance and martial arts moves ensues. The game face is everything.
Any typos spotted in this post have a very special set of skills. They mainly involve muddling up i and e, but they're special nonetheless. If spotted, please admire them.
