在內觀中心跟其他人說，我去年二月第一次內觀之後，回到家當天就開始早晚各一個小時靜坐，一直持續到現在。

大多數的人都認為這件事很困難。很多人以為這是「自律」的結果。

但我並不認為自己是個「自律」的人。如果我能堅決持續地每天做一件事，那一定是因為我有強烈的「動機」。

我做事很少會為了做而做。我一向需要知道「為什麼要做」。

如果我知道「為什麼要做」，也在思考過後同意這樣做確實比較好，那麼我就會願意去做，即使不是一件容易的事。

在內觀中心的10日課程，我體驗到了這個工具如何協助我認識自己。我確定這個工具是可以做到的。因此，我回到家之後，每一次要坐上座墊開始內觀之前，都會先問自己：我現在為什麼要坐下？

啊，是為了要認識理解自己。是為了鍛鍊我的中央前額葉，促進大腦的整合。

30幾歲的時候，我曾經面臨過生命無意義的存在危機，不知道自己為什麼要活著。當時單身，生活很單純輕鬆，時間很多，各種玩樂享受我也都有經歷過，但就是不覺得那些足夠。

終於花了一些時間面對自己，然後重新定義了自己生命的意義。我相信，每一個生命都充滿潛能。我想要看看我的生命可以發揮出多大的潛能。

每次讀近現代中國史，都會對於蒙古以至於中亞一帶的民族和他們的歷史文化感到好奇，因為以大國或是主流文化為主體的歷史敘述裡，他們感覺都只是配角，然後都是被任意操縱殺伐但極少留下姓名和故事的一大群人啊！
身為在大國邊邊，海島一角的我，對他們慢慢的有了共感，不知道那裡可以找到相關的書或資料，可以有機會多認識他們？
