これ、最初は馴染み深い地名が消えることにショックを感じましたが、県級を完全に消し去って、都市部は「坊」、農村部は「社」の基礎自治体をベースにして、その上がすぐに日本の県より大きいレベルの広域自治体、その上がすぐ国というのは、行政コスト削減、地方自治の充実にはものすごい効果があると思います。ガチガチに権益が固まっちゃってる日本には到底できない大改革。

ちなみに再編後の最大の省は、新ラムドン省で岩手県よりちょっと小さいくらい。36の広域自治体のうち21が海に面した省となります。

具体例を上げると、ホーチミン市はビンズォン省とバリア＝ブンタウ省を併合し人口1400万人の新ホーチミン市に、私の住んでいるところは、「ホーチミン市ゴーヴァップ区第12坊」から、「ホーチミン市アンホイタイ坊」になりました。

行政システムの完全移行は7月1日からです。これによる行政コストの削減は、2026年～2030年の5ヵ年で190兆ドン（1兆円）を超える見通しとのことです。

Updated my Tumblr (velvetsfan.com) for the first time in months…was listening to some music and wanted to post about it somewhere. I miss soup.io, which was a smaller, quirkier version of Tumblr, and where I used to post artsy-fartsy stuff that didn’t fit into my tech blogging world. Tumblr was the one that survived, but now it’s owned by one of the self-important crazy Tech Lords and so I am not so keen on using it.
