my current phone is my first iphone — owing to lots of peer pressure from pooya 😆
I particularly like the integration with my macbook (copy/paste, wifi sharing, etc.)
there are things I prefer about android though, including much better + granular notifications settings

Reading about Windows installation on fedi reminds me of something I went through recently -
We were donating a laptop to a child to help them finish school. I was helping with tasks like cleaning out old data.
I wanted to install linux because I had expected Microsoft account to be a hassle. I did not in the end. The child was fighting homelessness and struggling to keep up. I did not want to make it harder.
