マストドンだって、もっと人が多ければエコー・チェンバーと呼ばれるかも知れない。目にしたくない馬鹿は完全に無視できるし、余計なお世話のお奨め（というか、商業的な広告だよね）も出て来ないし。比較的気の合う人たちと緩く繋がっていられる場所だから、それで十分だと思っている。
ただ、政治的な（という限定は必要ないが、まあ、分りやすいところで言うと、政治的な、だ）対外的発言ましてや対外的行動が SNS 内で完結しているとしたら、それは非常に不健康だと思う。
어제부터 Jujutsu라는 버전 관리 시스템을 써보고 있습니다. git의 branch는 연속적인 단일 작업을 표현하는 느낌이 강하게 드는데 사실 그저 어느 commit을 가리키는 포인터일 뿐이라는 걸 느끼게 해주네요. Jujutsu에서는 같은 커밋에서 다음 커밋을 여러 개 만들면 그게 브랜치이고, 여러 커밋을 parent로 하는 커밋을 하나 만들면 그게 머지이고, 수정이 다 끝나면 그냥 원하는 브랜치 이름의 포인터를 적절히 옮기면 됩니다. 부분 변경을 커밋 간에 자유롭게 옮길 수 있는 것까지 합치면 재미있는 사용 방법이 많이 있을 것 같습니다. 특히 megamerge workflow를 쓰면 git 쓰다가 생겼던 "지금 하는 작업을 끝내야 다음 변경사항을 작업"하는 강박이 해소될 것 같아 기대가 많이 됩니다.

ABIs are weird. If a function can accept six pointers on general-purpose registers, and eight floating-point arguments on FP registers, it should be able to return as many, dammit! Instead, we can't even return an integer and a float on separate registers simultaneously 😭
Also the perfectionist's nightmare that is the selection of GPRs in AMD64 calling convention on Linux. The six integer arguments go in rdi-rsi-rdx-rcx-r8-r9.
memcpy's arguments are therefore dst:rdi, src:rsi, count:rdx.
Meanwhile, REP MOVSB takes rdi as destination, rsi as the source, and... rcx as the count.

といった具合です。
言い換えると、登録した人のうち

が継続して活動しています。
一気に登録が増えても、全員が定着するわけではないので、必ず減ります。
