In the olden days of Open Source and Free Software, bug reports would come as a fix attached to a problem description. Just sending a bug report and demanding a fix was seen as lazy and wrong.

I’ve been reading the USB-C and USB-PD specs lately and I keep alternating between “this is pretty well designed” and “i want some of what they’re smoking at the USB-IF”

Anyway I think USB-PD over USB-C is the first protocol I’ve come across to implement what I’m terming VSMA/CA (Voltage Sense Multiple Access/Collision Avoidance) as a channel access arbitration strategy

기분 좋은 일. 작업실에 밥 주는 성격 좋고 조심성 있는 고양이가 있는데 이 친구가 동네 최약체라 다른 큰언니한테 맨날 맞고 밥도 뺏기며 마주치면 도망가고 숨어다녔단 말임. 사실 양쪽 다 밥 주고 싶은데 큰언니는 자기가 우리를 다 차지하고 싶어서인지 최약체를 쫓아내려고 해서 맘에 안들었음. 그래서 최약체 전용 밥을 실내에서 따로 주기 시작했는데 최약체도 좀 컸고 또 건강상태가 좋아져서인지는 몰라도 이제 이전처럼 큰언니와 대면할 때 그냥 도망치지 않고 거리를 둔 채 위협하며 대면하는 단계까지 갔다. 오늘은 그 위협에 무서운 큰언니가 아주 천천히 시야 밖으로 사라졌고 그걸 보는데 너무 대견하게 느껴짐. 잘했어 최약체야.

그 정도는 되어야 살겠지만 사실 이 것도 안 해 줄 거잖아.

15평... 타협해서 14평까지만이라도 좀 저렴하게 살 수 있는 주택을 공급하자.

On my trip to the local arboretum on Friday, I picked up a disposable vape that had been discarded at the foot of an ancient tree.

First of all: OMG WTF???

Second: I’m now trying to recycle it. I am determined. It is ONE VAPE, and, fine, you can vape, I drink coffee, it’s good. But I am a RESPONSIBLE HUMAN BEING.

And so the journey begins. The local corner shop guy looked at me like no one had ever asked if they could recycle a vape before.

So… where now?

覺得用起來沒有很人體工學

若以滑鼠的方向握好滑鼠，手指會因中立滑倒最下方接觸桌面，但滑鼠的按鈕是在半空中，所以必須自己出力將手指往上抬才按得到按鍵

這隻滑鼠還有為手較小的人設計，建議找實體店面嘗試過再購買

補充：掌心朝內時，手掌會貼在桌面上，滑鼠很滑沒問題，但是你的手掌不滑會卡住

I hate it that mastodon does not allow you to turn off replies. I'd love to scream something into the world and I don't want anyone replying to it.

And before I get a lot of mansplaining how it's people's right to reply: this is not even something controversial, just something I have no power to deal with any word-like feedback, no matter how well meant. And screaming out would help.

@dbDavid Bushell ☕ the entire preface is so wild to me... LLMs cannot spit out valid code even though everyone is claiming they're revolutionary by every measure, so someone uses a LLM to make a more loose parser to workaround it.

don't they see how counterintuitive it is to spend time (and consume enormous amounts of energy) just to make LLMs happy, instead of just not using it? 🤦‍♂️

마크다운의 특별한 렌더링 없이 봐도 의미론적인 정보를 유지하는 특성을 좋아하기는 하는데, 자동 줄내림을 해주는 편집환경(예: 웹)에서는 줄내림을 줄내림으로 처리하지 않는 동작이 불편하다. 자꾸 까먹고 렌더링 안되는 줄내림을 쓰고는 "아, 맞다" 하게 된다.
