Re: recent Spotify news I’d like to remind everyone a local music library is still 100% viable in 2025.
I recommend:
1. Buy music from Bandcamp, 7digital, iTunes, or Amazon
2. Sync with Plex (requires home server + sub) or iTunes Match (cheap sub)
3. Backup with something like Backblaze or Arq
(the righteousness of a cause (in this case, Not Righteous) is not determined by its economic prudentness but one would think that the people whose god is capital would at least consider it. "bad" is one thing; "bad, and also stupid under any set of values" is another)

I have run my first test and in generell it looks promising. (I have not yet start to rebuild my theme but the content structure should be good) I have around 2,6 G of images so I would like to add some more intelligent then a simple copy when generating the html.
