A key part of the New York City mayoral races was Ranked Choice Voting.
I'm not seeing many news articles mention this yet (correct me if I'm wrong though!).
Ranked choice let's us vote first for who we actually want.... and then put in backup votes for "good enough" candidates and allows us to compromise and find common ground.
It destroys the concepts of "lesser of two evils" and "throwing away your vote".
I hope we see Ranked Choice voting everywhere.

最近才發現，解讀情緒是一種需要學習的事情，起碼需要一定鍛煉。並不是他人，而是自己。當一種情緒忽然從心中升起，很容易就能感受到自己感覺的變化，但又很難解讀這種情緒是什麽，又為什麽會產生。
電車の席に扇風機（デカいのではない）を置き忘れた人がいて、置き忘れて列車から降りたんだけど、すぐに気づいて、ドア越しに届けている人がいて、すごいなと思った。

시급한 순서대로 정리했습니다.
1. 팔로잉 피드 보던 위치 저장
2. 번역 품질과 UI/UX 개선
3. iOS 앱에서 스와이프로 웹뷰에서 빠져나올 수 있게
4. 검색 기능의 품질 개선
5. 커스톰 피드의 부실
6. 페디버스 게시물에 답글 쓸 수 있게
1번이 되면 제 스레드 사용 시간은 4-5배 정도 늘고 X(Twitter) 사용 시간은 절반으로 줄 겁니다.
2번은 매일 느끼는 불편인데 해결되면 저를 포함한 수많은 비영어권 사용자들이 행복해질 겁니다. 번역 품질은 메타의 최신 AI 기술을 활용해도 좋고 DeepL의 API를 활용해도 좋습니다. 웹뷰의 번역도 꼭 필요하고요.
3번도 매일 느끼는 불편인데 참고 쓰기는 하지만 고쳐지면 아주 편해질 겁니다.
4, 5, 6은 자주는 아니지만 가끔씩 쓸 때마다 아쉬움을 느끼는 것들입니다.

It has been 0️⃣ days since I (a Python programmer of 25 years) spent a long time trying to figure out why a unit test didn't work and it was because I moved an argument out of a function call into an intermediate variable and left the trailing `,` implicitly making the variable a tuple.
