I was explaining to someone the long list of things I (and my colleagues) have worked on since ActivityPub (esp with Spritely but not only), and they were like, wow, I only knew about ActivityPub but this is incredible stuff

Then they asked "Does your life feel kind of like being a musician, and you're like, check out my wide body of work, especially the recent stuff, but people keep asking you to play the song you wrote two decades ago they heard in high school"

Duality theory in linear optimization and its extensions -- formally verified

Farkas established that a system of linear inequalities has a solution if and only if we cannot obtain a contradiction by taking a linear combination of the inequalities. We state and formally prove several Farkas-like theorems over linearly ordered fields in Lean 4. Furthermore, we extend duality theory to the case when some coefficients are allowed to take ``infinite values''.

Scott's Representation Theorem and the Univalent Karoubi Envelope

Lambek and Scott constructed a correspondence between simply-typed lambda calculi and Cartesian closed categories. Scott's Representation Theorem is a cousin to this result for untyped lambda calculi. It states that every untyped lambda calculus arises from a reflexive object in some category. We present a formalization of Scott's Representation Theorem in univalent foundations, in the (Rocq-)UniMath library. Specifically, we implement two proofs of that theorem, one by Scott and one by Hyland. We also explain the role of the Karoubi envelope -- a categorical construction -- in the proofs and the impact the chosen foundation has on this construction. Finally, we report on some automation we have implemented for the reduction of $λ$-terms.

Any "git bisect" expects around that can help me out?

I'd like to better understand why the bisection described in below article apparently ended up on commit 44a84da45272 (a commit in the middle of the merge 5d4740fc787d), when in fact the real culprit apparently was 1567b49d1a40 (merged via ce8a79d5601aab) – and if there is a way to detect if a bisection result you ended up with might be a case where things went sideways in a similar way.
