사실 아직 이전한건 많이 없지만... 일단은 기존 DB랑 Redis를 tailnet으로 연결하고 클러스터에 사이드킥을 띄웠다 그리고 사이드킥 오토스케일링 기준을 CPU로 잡는게 조금 부적절하다고 생각했었는데 Prometheus로 사이드킥 큐 크기를 측정해서 그거 기반으로 스케일링하는게 좋을것같다 (내일)

The consequences of the recent GEMA vs. OpenAI decision will be very interesting for "coding agents" and the sources they vomit out. Cause a lot of the code their developers accumulated is GPL-licensed.

The court basically decided that you can't just ignore copyright for the training of your stochastic parrot if it can still reproduce the original. So yeah.

it was always meant to be a "Here is how I solved this problem. It is now solved" type of project, and seeing this happen means i've succeeded

I sometimes like to watch urban planning videos. I couldn't really tell you why. They often talk about "induced demand". The idea that adding more lanes to a highway actually makes traffic worse. I always found this a little hard to believe but, after spending two hours in bumper to bumper hell on a 16(!) lane freeway in Phoenix, I think they might be on to something.

starting december i need to have found a new home because i had to cancel my current temporary housing solution due to unemployment, it cost me 2400/EUR per month because my old employer's relocation provider scammed me and i had to find something 2 weeks before starting to work in Berlin

now i have founded my own business as a freelancing network engineer and FOSS developer, and i have 5 clients which (will) pay sooner or later (once the German Finanzamt has finally assigend me a VAT number) - but that's kinda unstable due to my mental health being equally unstable due to all the existential dread

it would help me a lot if anyone could help me find a place to live for maybe 1 or 2 months until i have found my own apartment

or alternatively donate to my liberapay so i can do more stuff myself, right now i am several hundreds of euros in debt liberapay.com/alina

i am currently under a lot of stress which is why things all take their while, but soon-ish i will also launch my patreon where i will sell my works and services of which i am convinced are worth paying for... maybe i should be a little less perfectionist about all of this and just finish that damn blog post already lol
