...all of this with only 3% of existing global resource use. Specifically: 7% of existing material use, 1% of existing emissions, 2% of existing land use, and 2% of existing water use.
Now, ask yourself, who is stopping us?
They are the enemy, but they set you against each other, and keep making themselves richer.

This isn't a personal decision. The societal harms are still there whenever someone decides to pretend that things like "AI summaries" work to an extent, by shipping them at all.

"You can turn off this AI feature" is a big, fat lie, #mozilla (and everyone else who spreads that lie).
Because as a consumer, I bloody well can't and you know that!
I mean, I can and will turn it off in my installation, but meanwhile you'll *still* be destroying society with it.
You'll still be pushing "AI" narratives.
You'll still be perpetrating epistemic vandalism by reinforcing the lie that "AI" can "summarize".
I'm still reeling from a client asking ChatGPT to tell them that they could send a spam email, using their collected addresses with no list hygiene.
It's the first time that's happened to me.
I was worried before, but I'm seriously worried now. Mainly for the huge mess tools like chatgpt and other AI tools are causing.
Non technical folks are using it to get the answers they want.
Which is why I'd really like a browser to not have them at all.
Why shouldn't you trust someone you see drawing on graph paper?

로보택시 서비스 경쟁에서 웨이모와 테슬라 어느 쪽이 유망할까요?
말대로만 된다면 당연히 테슬라인데, 아직 말대로 된 것이 없다보니 저는 아직도 잘 모르겠네요.
이런 테크 분야에서 먼 미래는 정말 예측하기 힘들다보니 저는 당연하고 뻔한 이야기를 할 수 밖에 없네요.
어느 쪽이 유망한지는 시기마다 발전 단계마다 바뀔텐데 안 바뀌는 기준은 딱 하나입니다.
그 때에 무인으로 운행되어 영업하는 로보택시 수.
현재는 2500 vs 0이고
연말까지는 2500+a vs 500+a 이라고 하네요.
내년엔 두 회사가 엎치락뒤치락 하겠지요? 영업 대스와 함께 서비스하는 도시 수와 규모도 그렇고요.
2027년은 정말 모르겠네요. 이건 신뢰나 신념 그리고 자율주행 기술 경연이 아니라 서비스이자 사업이니까요.
2025년말, 2026년 중반, 2026년말, 2027년을 지켜보시면 계속 재미있을 겁니다. 주위와 의견이 다르면 피곤한 논쟁보다는 시기마다 밥 사는 내기를 하시고요. ^^
