B) why does the what 3 words thing begin with suffer on a AED? (there was almost certainly was a different one to choose)

🚀 Django LiveView 2.0.0 is now available

I just released a major new version of Django LiveView, the framework that lets you build interactive, real-time web applications using only Python — no JavaScript required.

🎯 What is Django LiveView?

A radically simpler way to build dynamic interfaces with Django. Inspired by Phoenix LiveView and Laravel Livewire, it lets you create SPAs without APIs, without JavaScript frameworks, without splitting your logic between frontend and backend.

HTML over WebSockets — all interactivity works in real-time, logic lives in Python, and you use Django's template system.

🔧 Simplified configuration

pip install django-liveview

## 💪 What can you do with LiveView?

- ✅ Update the DOM in real-time without JavaScript
- ✅ Interactive forms with instant validation
- ✅ Infinite scroll and lazy loading
- ✅ Multi-user live notifications
- ✅ Real-time dashboards
- ✅ Search with instant results
- ✅ Everything with Python decorators and Django templates

📚 More information

https://github.com/Django-LiveView/liveview

If you're a Django developer and want to add real-time features without the complexity of a separate frontend, give LiveView a try.

This is great—the kind of not-glamorous, low-level, long-timer work that is essential for making Rust healthy in the long term. We need a lot more of this kind of investment to make it easy to build great debugging tools (the biggest gap in the ecosystem IMO!).

Bonfire Social 1.0 is live! A federated, community‑first social network built on the modular Bonfire toolkit, and it’s only the beginning.

It's time to go beyond microblogging and build apps for community organising, open science, mutual aid, and collective decision‑making. Let's take back the internet with open protocols, consent‑based governance, and portability by design.

hey cis friends

when i say we need you to be an accomplice, not an ally

this is what i mean

(this article is moderately transphobic, which is no surprise given it's from the BBC, but it's the action of the cis woman who's the focus of it that I'm talking about)

Bloß keine IT-Menschen dabei, die tatsächlich was sinnvolles dazu sagen könnten.

A cruelty of aging is that no activity is safe. I somehow injured my groin/hip last night… getting up out of a chair!?! I don’t even know how. Any leg motion in an arcing fashion, that is to say not directly forward, caused such pain that I was reduced to hobbling about. I despaired that my return to was over just as I’d begun to think a normalcy was settling in.

This morning, I woke to find the pain had almost entirely subsided. I think I’ll rest another day, but there is hope again.

Nano Banana Pro, released this morning, is clearly the best image generation model. Superb instruction following, plus it can generate full infographics (with correct spelling and properly rendered text!) from a short prompt based on running extra searches simonwillison.net/2025/Nov/20/

Worth noting with Mastodon - one of the reasons for no cookie consent popup is.. there are no tracking cookies. At all.

Similar with official mobile apps, there's no privacy agreements etc in the app stores as there's no third party tracking.

Why is this notable? Try doing the same check on Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky or basically anywhere or anything else online. It's basically unheard of in 2025, as everybody else is selling you.
