EDIT: The Malwarebytes article has been updated:
"After taking a closer look at Google’s documentation and reviewing other reporting, that doesn’t appear to be the case."
This confusion could've been easily avoided if Google was more clear in how they communicate with their users.

Heeeyyy Fedi!!! I have a question that I *know* a bunch of you are going to be able to answer.
For the past couple decades I've wanted an electric guitar, but my ex always shot it down. So, now that I've escaped that abusive relationship, and with it nearing the holidays again, I've decided I'm going to finally get one.
Last time I played guitar was in middleschool (and some bass in highschool), so I'm starting from scratch.
My constraints:
- 6 string electric guitar
- under $200
- used/hand me down is great
- pink would be awesome
- probably right-handed (because that's what I learned on)
Does anyone have a recommendation (or better yet, an old guitar near Seattle that could use the sweet, sweet love of a new owner?)
I looked at Amazon (🤢) and found something that seems like it fits my needs, but I hate supporting them, *and* I have no idea if it's garbage or not.

Mozilla has detailed it's pivot to AI, lazily framing its "people-first AI" vs "big tech AI" gambit as a rehash of 2000s browser wars.
Over the next three years all of Mozilla’s portfolio "will design their strategies" and "measure their success" with how much AI they're adding.
AI features in Firefox will be "opt-in", but no doubt it'll nag you to try them since Mozilla is making 20% yearly increases in non-search revenue part of its "bottom line" mission.

as a victim of child sexual abuse it honestly pisses me off when i hear people describe ai generated images as "child sexual abuse material"
like, no, that's not what it is. it can very obviously still be Bad, of course, but we still need to be respecting the fact that it is Different. do people not see how it is trivializing actual rape and abuse by comparing it to a made-up image a computer generated out of nothing? how every time i have to talk about Actual Honest To Goodness Real Life Pictures Of A Real Life Child Having Sex Crimes Done To Them In Real Life as a concept i have to add even more fucking qualifiers to lest people think i'm talking about drawings or deepfakes
it's just fucking exhausting
just PTSD ranting at this point. child sexual abuse, objectification, suicide mention
oh, and everyone acts like "CSAM" is the only thing that matters because nobody wants to admit that we don't do shit to actually prevent sexual abuse and we don't do shit to help the victims of it afterwards either. you can pretend that you're helping by going crazy about some fucking jpegs; when in reality kids and teens are still getting abused even if all the cameras are turned off. meanwhile you harass victims until they kill themselves for not acting how you want them to, and then the perpetrator gets elected fucking President or whatever.
that's the world we're in! everyone ignores the actual foundational problems, and instead they pretend to "help" in a way that either does nothing or makes things worse after the fact because they don't want to admit that they ignored the problem on purpose at the start.
in a way, it's not much different to us than how the pedos that jerked off to us a decade ago treated us. all you people see are the photos; you ignore the person who's life was ruined by them.
