A whole bunch of people block the use of browser devtools, by (for example) killing off page content when it's been detected.

I've just come across one that kills the site as soon as the inner window width is 200px less wide than the outer - but that also kills a site for any users of tabs going down the side instead across the top of a window.

I spent much of the past couple of days running down what I thought was a VLAN trunking issue due to mixing and matching Unifi and Mikrotik gear and moving things around, but it turned out to just be that I forgot that I had adjusted the firewall rules for the VLAN, and that I had neglected to allow DHCP+DNS to the gateway from that untrusted VLAN. I very rarely touch the firewall so I'd forgotten that I'd done that about a week or so earlier.

A large pile of fly-tipped waste dumped in a field between the River Cherwell and the A34 road. There was evidence that some of the waste came from primary schools and local authorities in south-east England. Paul Powlesland, a barrister and founder of Lawyers for Nature, said the evidence was concerning. He said: ‘If confirmed this shows the waste is the result of large-scale fraud or corruption in local authority waste management.’
