그러면서 1일부터 추위가 시작됩니다. 마음 단단히 먹고 다음 주를 대비해 주셔야 할 것 같은데요. 3일엔 서해안/전남 일대에 상당한 눈이 올 것으로 예상되니 그 부분 역시 신경써 주셔야 할 것 같습니다. 주말동안 미리미리 외출할거 다 하시고(...) 다음 주, 본격적인 추위와 함께 인사드리겠습니다. 겨울철 보온대책에 꼭 신경써주시고, 수도관 동파 대비 등도 함께 해 주시길 당부드리겠습니다. 이제 본격적인 겨울의 시작입니다. 더욱 격렬해지는 기후변화 속에 매일이 힘들지만, 그래도 머리를 잘 맞대고 버텨봅시다. 주말 잘 보내세요!

올해 코트를 입을 찐막(...) 주말 날씨 보시겠습니다. 전국이 고기압 영향권에 들며 대체로 맑겠습니다. 아침 최저기온은 -5~5℃, 낮 최고기온은 6~12℃입니다. 가뜩이나 어제보다 기온이 크게 떨어지는데, 바람까지 강하게 불어 체감온도는 더욱 떨어지겠는데요. 주요 도시별로는 서울 -1~7℃, 대전 0~10℃, 대구 2~10℃, 광주 3~10℃, 부산 4~12℃, 제주 9~13℃로 어제보다 뚝 떨어집니다. 하지만 주말 토요일과 일요일은 기온이 급반등합니다. 내일은 낮 기온 9~17℃, 모레는 낮 기온 11~18℃까지 올라요.

그 결과 나타나는 것이 끝이 오늘처럼 뾰족하지 않고 이렇게 평평하게 벌어지는, U자형 한파의 도래입니다. 이렇게 되면 삼한사온이라는 말이 무색할 정도로 강한 한파가 최소 1주일 가량 이어지게 됩니다. 12월 3일을 전후로 기온은 급락하게 되는데요. 오늘 정말 춥긴 한데, 이건 그냥 예고편에 불과하다고 할 정도로 정말 많이 추워집니다. 당장 일요일인 내일 모레는 낮 최고기온이 15℃까지 오르다가 다음 주 화요일에 4℃로 급락하는데요. 1일인 월요일부터 추위 대비를 철저히 해 주셔야겠습니다. 이 추위는 최소 1주일은 쭉 이어갈거에요.

동해 한대기단수렴대가 강해지면 그만큼 동해상에서 발생하는 폭탄저기압의 빈도도 증가하고, 강도도 강해집니다. 폭탄저기압이 발생하면 그 여파로 인해 북쪽 한기가 한반도로 바로 내리꽂히게 되죠. 앞으로 당분간은 평균 기온이 오른다는 말이 무색할 정도로 급격하게 추위가 찾아오는 현상, 그것도 자주 한파가 발생하지 않던 11월에서 12월 초 사이에, 이 상당히 자주 발생할 것으로 전망됩니다. 기후변화가 점점 몸으로 느껴집니다. 거기에 더해 북극도 문제입니다. 해빙 축소로 AO가 감소, 편서풍이 한기를 잡아주지 못한 채 점점 남하합니다.

아래 이미지는 통상적인 동한난류(East Korea Warm Current)의 흐름과 변화 패턴인데요. 요 몇년 들어 - 특히 2020년대부터 - 심각하게 빠른 속도로 동한난류의 이동이 불규칙하게 강화되며 북한 한류를 밀어내는 모양새를 보이고 있습니다. 물론 국립해양조사원의 연구결과에 따르면 이 동한난류의 움직임은 10년 주기로 급격한 변동성을 보인다고는 하는데요. 문제는 지구 온난화로 인해 바다가 머금는 열 에너지가 증가하면서 동한난류와 이로 인한 난수성 소용돌이의 변화가 커진다는 것입니다. 그 결과로 한대기단수렴대가 강해져요.

Body tracking sensors (i.e., depth cameras) such as Microsoft Kinect have been utilized in ambient display research for more than a decade. They facilitate a deeper understanding of phenomena occurring throughout interactions, aid the investigation of ambient displays within a broader context, and effectively complement existing qualitative methods such as on-site observations. Although these sensors have made significant contributions to research, there are still challenges with regard to data collection and analysis, particularly in light of recent advances in artificial intelligence. Further research is needed into how these sensors can contribute to a better understanding of how ambient displays are used in practice long term and how they can help to develop this understanding. In this article, we expand on the potentials and limitations of body tracking sensors that we experienced in our own in-the-wild research. To this end, we present insights from a small fleet of long-term, real-world installations of ambient displays we manage, which incorporate multiple body tracking sensors. The present article is concluded with a discussion of future directions for the field. In particular, the present study explores the potential contributions of body tracking sensors to recent methodological developments in the field of Human-Computer Interaction.
