100%, but it's worth emphasizing that "tell your government loudly" necessarily involves replacing people who don't listen with people who do.
We got here because the people who held on to power, even the ones on "our side" (if there are any) didn't listen to us the last hundred times we told them we didn't want this. It's not that we didn't tell them.
